Episcopal is derived from epískopos, one who carefully oversees and looks into someone's needs |
Christ Charismatic Liturgical Recovery Church is a denomination or jurisdiction with four types of
pastoral caretakers.
These are symbolized by the Four Living Creatures in Scriptures: The Lion of Judah, the Angel of Service,
the Ox of Sacrifice and the Eagle of Vision.
1) The Sub-diaconate
These are the women and men who are called to be the first line of defense against spiritual evil in the
community and the Body of Christ. They are ministers of the Lord's healing grace and love through the traditional prayers
of the Church such as Exorcism, Blessings and and the Sacrament of Healing.
As such their symbol is the Lion of Judah, roaring boldly against Evil and protecting those in spiritual
or even physical danger. They are the Feet of the Church.
2) Diaconate
These are women and men who minister to the people in our branch of the Body of Christ and
to the community as a whole through various ministries of helps, such as, victim's outreach, housing and job services, food
growth and distribution, teaching, and healing prayers.
As such they are the Hands of the Church and their symbols are the wings of an Angel, outstretched to shelter,
guard, guide and nurture the lives of others in Christ.
They administer the Sacrament of Baptism.
2) Pastors
These are both women and men who devote their lives in a special way to the Altar of the Lord. They are
called to preach and teach, just as deacons do, but they are especially called to the ministry of intercession, unity, healing
and reconciliation.
Pastors make Healing Intercession for the sins of humanity through the Holy Sacrifice of the Cross
in Holy Communion in the prayers that they offer through Jesus as our Great High Priest before the father in the Holy Spirit. They
call the people to Reconciliation in the Sacrament of Confession and Forgiveness of Sins. They unite women and men
in the Sacrament of Matrimony which so resembles the covenant of love in the Most Holy Trinity.
That involves a desire and call to become one with Christ in His Suffering and Resurrection in a special
way. As such they are the Heart of the Church and their symbol is the Ox, laid down on the altar for Sacrifice
3) Bishop
The Bishop or Episcopal Pastor is the man or woman called by the Lord to found a church or govern an area
as an overseer. They do all that the other calls to the pastoral do, but they especially are aware of the ebbs and flows of
the churches and the worlds of the Spirit beyond their own geographical area. They help explain and focus the theology of
the Church and impart the fresh and living presence of the Holy Spirit, especially in the Sacrament of Confirmation and Holy
Orders.
As such, the bishops are the Eyes and Mouth of the Church in Christ. So his/her symbol is the Eagle
flying high with its eyes on the Lord while yet paying close attention to the needs and healing of the people.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Trimelda C. McDaniels
is the episcopal pastor of Christ Charismatic Liturgical Church, the foundress of the jurisdiction and head of the Mercy Apostles
of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Face of Jesus Christ.
The youngest of three children, Trimelda grew up on the
West Side of Chicago and was placed in the Catholic school system by her parents, Paul Lawrence and Sadie Morrow McDaniels.
Her high school, Providence-St. Mel, is still called the "hard work school" for placing a full 100% of its graduates in colleges
and was instrumental in getting her into Marquette University.
She then attended the College of Journalism from
1972-1976 with a double major of journalism and theology through the Bachelor of Arts program up to her first year
of training for her Master's Degree in theology. Her discipline of choice was patristics.
However, that time was interupted to spend personal time with her mother as
a daughter and a nurse until Mrs. McDaniels' illness and death by cancer.
Her post graduate education then included graduation from the MidWest School
for the Study of Oriental Medicine in 1981 with personal training in Western herbalism and identification.
Trimelda
then studied and received post graduate certification and training through the Evangelical Bible College and the International
Church of Deliverance. She was later licensed and ordained with the laying on of hands in 1989 in Dallas, Texas through
the International Church of Deliverance, one of the oldest Pentecostal denominations.
Trimelda's ministry experience
includes 13 years of street work as a lay consecrated, celibate member of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the
Roman Catholic Church. Her training in the martial arts of Tae Kwon Do, Shodokan, Issin-Ryu, Ninjitsu (Iga Style), Judo, and
American Boxing led her to teach self-defense classes in Chicago, Illinois, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, San Diego, California and
Acayucan, State of Vera Cruz, Mexico and now, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She presently holds black belts and instructor's
certification in American Kick Punch Karate, Arnis/Kali, and Penjak Silat under Tuhan Leo Gaje, Fred Degerberg, and Master
Danny Insanto since 1984. Both Trimelda and the style she created, Uzzijah-Do are listed with the World Black Belt Bureau.
She has also contributed to Inside Kung Fu Magazine and appeared on local radio and television on the subjects of martial
arts, African dance and inter-racial relationships.
Trimelda is the author of "A Christian Kwanzaa" and is presently
working on "A Christian Theology of Sexuality", her online autobiography, "Runnin' With The Angels" and "The Gabriel Connection,"
a futuristic novel on cloning and mind control.
Her staff elected her to the post of Episcopal Pastor in the fall of 2001 to
better enable her to teach, train and ordain interested candidates to the position of pastor-priests over the next two years.

FAQ about the pastor
1) Are you married?
YES, to the Lord. This year is our
33rd anniversary on May 13, 2009.
Being married to the Lord Jesus
is just the same as being married to any other man, except that He's God made man and therefore, absolutely perfect. That
means He wins every fight we have between us! (smile)
Seriously, though, I think the Church as a whole has forgotten the
value of celibacy AND the beauty of marriage between a man and a woman. There is a place for both in the Body of Christ as
far as ministry is concerned. God creates us to do different tasks for Him and to His everlasting Glory that can mean marriage
as unto the Lord and marriage to each other: man and woman.
2) Where are you originally from?
Chicago, Illinois. I was born and bred on the West Side of
the Windy City, a child of the 1950's and 60's, complete with Afro and attitude. I went to public schools until I was eight
years old and then finished in the Catholic system until I was in my early twenties at Marquette University. I am happy and
proud to be from Chi-town. But, I am also glad that Idaho is now my home.
3) Is it true that you're a Black
Belt in karate?
I hold a Black Belt in American
Kick Punch Karate, and I was awarded instructor's degrees in Penjak Silat and Philipine Stick Fighting, (Arnis-Esrima). Several
years later, I developed Uzzijah Do- Christian Women's Self Defense and Strength Training. Currently the style is registered
with the World Black Belt Bureau. After my two Black Belts achieve their instructor's degrees, I will be eligible for the
Fifth Degree ranking in our style. In all, I have been in the arts for 37 years as a student and 36 years as a teacher.
4) Is it true that you're an exorcist?
Yes, in that all pastors are called to stand against evil of all kinds.
I have also been trained in the type of confrontational and healing prayer called "deliverance" by some people and "exorcism"
by others. In my life time in ministry I have been through 300 prayer counselings of this type. This is a ministry that is
challenging and VERY rewarding.
5) How do you deal with the challenges of being a woman in ministry?
Probably the same way a man does; with lots of prayer, some fasting
and leaning on the Word, the Spirit and the Lord's Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. I also go to Confession a lot!
The biggest problem for a woman in ministry isn't the sin of Sexism,
but the struggle to remain true to the vision God gives each one of us when we are created to serve the Lord. But, then that
is something every human being must deal with in life.
5) Do you ever regret being celibate?
No. My life with the Lord is intense enough as it is! If the Lord has
created you for Him and Him alone, you don't have regrets. Our love grows sweeter and sweeter each and every day.
Besides, I had the joy of raising my two nieces during their
childhood. I too had the round of peanut butter sandwiches, hair braiding, clothes washing and
ironing, story telling, hand holding, sicknesses, puberty, boyfriend chasing (sometimes away-if they got too fresh), and all
that.
I also got to deal with a young man's development into the Lord
and as he is now my adopted son, Djimon Christopher McDaniels, I am a mother AND a grandmother too!
So, I think I made the motherhood rounds pretty throughly.
6) What's next?
Build the church on our twin gifts of Twelve Steps in Christ and bringing the Body
of Christ back around the table of the Lord in Holy Com-Union. I think if we can wash each other's feet in love and then gather
to share the Lord's Body and Blood in Covenant, then we will be well on our way to being the WHOLE Body of Christ again.
We're really excited about our Shrine being built. More on that later...
